Other Airports

Exclusive to flightsim.andyjohnston.net, you can also download four other airports all just a short distance from Mountain Top. Each airport must be added to the scenery library separately in order to work.

  • Nujeau (PANJ) - Built to support the Alaska pipeline, Nujeau has very few amenities, but its 6000' runway (6-24) allows workers to get to their jobs at the oil refinery. Altitude 6300 feet.
  • Billiamsburg (C2FL) - Pilots looking for a relaxing getaway can make a stop at Billiamsburg, with its 4000' gravel runway (18-36) which sits next to the calm Alaskan water. Altitude 2115 feet.
  • Mike's Getaway (ATX)- Pilots looking for something a little different will find it here. With its narrow 1500' runway (15-33) carved into the top of a cliff 7600 feet high, Mike's Getaway is a challenging landing.
  • Ed's Landing (AKGS) - With all objects made using GMAX, AKGS gives a little more eye-candy for pilots to enjoy. Its two runways, 15-33 (5000') and 17-35 (also 5000') are situated at an altitude of 7400 feet.

Traffic

Included in the Mountain Top download is an AI traffic file which will allow traffic to fly between these five airports, as well as to others in the area and far off locations as well. The traffic is made up of default aircraft, along with some of flightsim.andyjohnston.net's custom aircraft, such as the Invisijet, the private jets, the Scoop, and even the star ship Enterprise. Future aircraft have been included as well, and when they are made available, you will see them begin to populate the skies too. You must have these aircraft downloaded and installed in your FS-2004 aircraft directory in order for them to appear.
