Wonderful site. Good work!

Andy,

Good Job on the Scenery. Think you should send them to Microsoft and
have them include in in a patch update to the game. Maybe work out
some type of deal for financial compensation for the value you have
added to the sim. Even though I know you only did it for the love of
virtual flying; if you don't need the money give it to charity. The
Sept 11 charities would be good. Keep up the good work. Thanks again
for enhancing the online flight experience.

Gunter Scherrer 17/Dec/2001:22:13:25
Hallo Andy, congratulations to your excellent work on the Ottawa
scenery. As I live here and am an old flightsimmer I can really
appreciate your work! Many thanks! Gunter

Alan Eagle   01/Nov/2001:04:46:23
I appreciate the time and talent gone into creating the add ons.
I agree with you, whilst the prime reason for the exercise is to fly,
it is great to approach and leave a city that actually has some
buildings in it.
Living in Australia as I do, the building add ons for sydney, perth etc
are great and many thanks.
Cheers,
Alan E

Hey Andy,
Searched High and low for scenery that would help FS look and feel
more realistic.Your scenery is my savior.Thank You.I was wondering if
you had any design plans for San Diego. No one ever gets it right and
although I love Chicago,There is an empty space where more skyscrappers
should be near the Hancock building. Can you fix this FS2K problem??

Thanx again
Dave in San Diego

Just wanted to let you know that here in Japan I am sick as I see what
those animals did to the people of NY and DC, not to mention the poor
folks on the planes....

However, I am remembering how it was and using your scenery to fly
around tonight...thanks for the good work, and want you to know that an
American very far from home is feeling a little less homesick looking
at the "3D" pics of NY that nobody can take away from us here in the FS
community...

Peace and blessings,

Hi Andy !
Thanks a lot for your great Ottawa scenery, it's really fantastic !...
I enjoyed the realism of the stores too, (Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons...)
May I suggest you something ? It would be great to add The
iron "Alexandra bridge" to the scenery, and the civilisations museum in
Hull.
Anyway, I love your great job, thanks a lot once again !

Tom Pawlik   09/Sep/2001:01:31:30
Just wanted to say thank you for providing scenery for the Chicagoland
area. I've enjoyed flying around this area with older versions of
Flight sim in the past. Now I can finally do this again.

Hawaiian Ryan   01/Sep/2001:03:26:16
Hey Andy, were really forunate of having someone as dedicated to
creating everything as you that FS2k has missed. Do you have any
scenery for an nyc3.zip. I think it could be used for all the buildings
around Central Park and Harlem (more north on the island). If you dont
know about Harlem just use references like maps and stuff.
Thanks man!!
-Mr Hawaiian Ryan

Gerry Nye   22/Aug/2001:16:32:47
Thanks for the great secenery. It adds a lot to the realism of
FS2000. I love the Ottawa and Montreal stuff since I am an ex-
easterner but now live in Victoria. Are you planning on doing any add-
on for Victoria one of these days? As a retired pilot I now get my
jollies from simming but it is a great way to keep one's hand in and I
suspect future editions of FS will only get better, especially with
dedicated people like yourself who are interested in making simulation
a 'real'fun thing. Keep up the good work.

Kindest regards,

Gerry Nye

great work!REALLY! Was absolutely surprised with your site, keep on.....
Especially i want to thank you for the 200+ buildings for Sarajevo, my
mothers hometown.... Its so hard to find anything for Bosnia, and i
must admitt that i'm very untalented myself for this work *gg*

Sorry for the typo mistake. I meant to say that I never have used
a "joystick" to fly FS98 or FS2K. I just use the keyboard. :)

Tom   21/Jul/2001:04:12:41
Great Site! Sorry to hear about your thumb. Just a thought: I have
never used the keyboard to fly FS98 or FS2K. I just use the keyboard.
It works for me. Take care!

in there and we'll see you doing aircraft or space stations or something
else really interesting.

Hey man,

i had the same problem with my thumb, and with a little physical
therapy i could use my joystick again. This came in handy beings I fly
a BK117 for Medstar in Washington DC as well as being a flight sim
enthusiast.. Good luck with the thumb and thanks for the scenery.

Hi Andy, just was surfing when I read what happened. Really sorry I will
always cherish your scenery eps. the Ottawa scenery I hope it works with
fs2002. Take care.

Fran Autore   01/Jul/2001:02:45:24
Andy! DON'T SHUT DOWN THOSE ENGINES YET!
Sorry to hear about the difficulties with your thumb, but you MAY be
able to stay in the air. I have not owned (or used) a joystick since my
Commodore Vic 20 days. For the year and a half that I've been flight
simming (Sierra Pro Pilot and FS2000PE) I've been using my keyboard
arrow keys!! I was going to shop for a joystick, but have gotten really
accustomed to flying with the keys. When I have a plane that is figity
and dosent want to hold course, I just engage the A.P. Ok, may not be
quite as realistic, but it could keep you airborne. By the way, I just
happened to stumble upon your site tonight. After doing a quick review
of your add-ons for FS2000, I realized by the file name, that it is YOUR
scenery add-on for New York City (the 200 extra buildings for the
big blank space) that I got from flightsim.com. Nice job I might add.
Oh, just another word about the arrow keys.....when I'm about to make
manuevers, I simply position my index finger

Mr Johnson: Sorry to hear your joy stick arm is in a bad way. I
shudder at the thought. I hope your wrist gets better. I have been
using a CH Flightstick for several years and so far so good. Thanks for
the buildings. I agree with you that sometimes there is not much to
look at. I look forward to the day when there will be STUFF everywhere
all the time. FS and scenery designers have come so far. I started
with FS 1 on a commordore 64 in 1984, when Chicago had 3 or 4 see
through building and roads were just a line on the ground. Sometimes I
forget just how far the project has come. Thanks to you and everyone
who gives so much to so many. I am not sure what a URL is; My homepage
is flightsim.com I think. At least when I click on enternet explorer
thats where I go. Good Luck and thanks again LH

Joseph Ricciardi   09/May/2001:02:02:52
Andy,
Thanks for all the scenery, tutorials etc.!
I have just recently re-acquired the hobby
of flight simulation/aviation. Years ago I was a US Navy
tech (Tradevman), maintaining the A6, F4 and
F14 full motion hydraulics OFT/WST's at NAS Oceana,
in Va.Beach, Va. It is amazing .....at last, to
see the technology seeded and further developed as
it has for the general public.
I have been an electrical engineer now for years
and it was electronics training in the service and the
exposure to flight simulation that had a large part
in my chosen profession and education.
Thanks again and regards......
Joe Ricciardi

I'm just a corporate pilot looking for as many add ons for fs2000
as possible

Terry Rochefort   29/Jan/2001:19:38:11
Your Ottawa scenery inspired me to try adding scenery, and it's
fantastic. I live in Calgary now, but lived in Ottawa for 20 years, and
Ottawa is now by far the most realistic city I have on FS2K. Also,
your tutorials are actually understandable for the
computer-challenged. Great work, Andy!

Yves Trepanier Noble Air Montreal Hub 28/Jan/2001:12:13:23
Andy,

As you are probably aware, Noble Air is planning a Fly-In into both
Montreal and Toronto for Feb. 24th, 2001. I just added Ottawa as an
alternate airport should there be too much air traffic on that day. I
have taken the liberty of referencing your recent rendition of Ottawa
for FS2000. Thanks for all your good work.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN LOOKS GREAT. EVERYBODY'S SCENERY DOWNLOADS NEED A
SEPERATE DOWNLOADABLE PROGRAM WHICH ALOWS A SCENERY DOWNLOAD TO BE
DRAGED INTO IT AND CLICKED AND CLICKED ... AND INSTALLED ....

Thanks for all the add-ons - What the hell is wrong with Flight Sim
2000? thats one of the worst programs Iv seen - It hesitates all the
time and the patch does nothing for it. Im gonna have to keep using Sim
98 - that DOES work like its supposed to. DONT WAISTE YOUR MONEY ON SIM
2000 UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN IT RUN. IT DOES NOT RUN WORTH A SHIT!

Hi Andy,
I was wondering whether you have ever heard from somebody in Namibia, a
small country in the south-western part of Africa?
Anyway, I have down loaded some add-ons (Chicago scenery etc) and am
going to install it. However I am using FS2000 Prof. and no longer
Fs98. I trust the scenery will work in Fs2000. I'll come back to you if
they don't.
Have a nice day, regards
Udo.
